if curreny then it is 7 pence. if weight, then it is 0.07 pound or 3.1752 grams (1 pound = 453.6 grams)

First convert 2% to decimal. Remove the % sign

2 / 100 = 0.02

One thing I cant understand whether it is 3.5 pounds or 3,500 pounds.

if it is 3.5 pounds 2% is 0.07(3.5*2/100)
if it is 3,500 pounds, 2% is 70(3500*2/100)
