You don't have to tell me who you are, but I was just wondering if famous people do this sort of thing too. How famous are you? Are you Brad Pitt/Madonna/Oprah famous (everyone knows your name)? Or Reality show/one-hit-wonder/child actor famous (People will soon forget your name)? Or perhaps politician/ author famous (you're only famous to certain people)?

I'm not famous, but I've answered Steven Hawking, Dr Depak Chopra, Jay Z, and I've seen Mariah Carey post a few, and Tom Cruise

no but i always hoped to be a world famous author...still see what i can do about publishing every once in a while but mostly i just give up...its too hard from what ive read, youre paying money and youre not even sure if the editors will accept your stuff. what a waste that can be!!!

I would prefer money for my writings over notoriety, though I do appreciate useful critical dialogue. As far as that type of fame goes, it is fleeting at best. They didn't earn it as far as I am concerned and Oprah is just a capitalist suck-up somehow disguised as the world's healer. I say put your money where your mouth is and stop asking me to put my money where your mouth is. Has Bono donated $10 million to his Jubilee 2000 campaign? I think not.
I would prefer my money went to research on the nature of addiction, diabetes and cancer research, hospice care for the elderly, counselling for the mentally ill and homeopathic treatments.
