Not at all...
Balaji has proved he is a failure in ODIs, since the first match he was introduced.Right now Sreesanth & Munaf' s performance has found far better than Balaji.Same as with experienced Agarkar & Zaheerkhan.VRV played only 2 ODIs & RPSingh also need some more time to being evaluated. Nehra is not at all in the picture now & probably will never be considered also. Only Pathan's recent performances make any sense to ur question. But in no doubt we can say he is better than Balaji...

Yes, he is an essential player much ahead Sreesanath, Nehra, VRV, RP Singh.

But not ahead then Pathan, Zaheer Khan, & Munaf. These people have performed well. In terms of Pathan he can be a good resourse in future. We should be giving him more then rather then kicking him out.

Regards,
Santosh

No Balaji is not an essential player. For me essential player for the world cup would be Ajit Agarkar as he has bowled well on the last tour of Windies.I will fancy him, I might be wrong but I have taken a chance

Never..
Why these type of unnecessary questions..? If you are after how many others are there?
All the above players are better than Balaji.
Balaji was always a failure in ODI whenever he got chance, last in SriLanka 2005, against Pakistan in India 2005 he conceded 5-10 runs per over in all the matches he played. His bowling average also aheads all the above players...

We have yet to find a bowler who along with pace and swing can create variations like mcgrath or Brett lee which baffles a batsman. Secondly our team has not yet learnt the dilly dally tactics practised by Pakistan and Australia to break the concentration of the batsman.

Balaji..?
Why ? What he did ? He got chances in more than 20 matches...
he is ahead only in averages...not in bowling
Don't ask these type of useless questions, if You ask about bringing back Kumble, Ganguly, Laxman, Gambhir, Uthappa some sense is there...
This is for Balaji...
Why you are not asking for Bhandari, Kumaran, Tinu Yohannan..ha..ha..ha..
