the women in bahrain is fairly comfortable. the normal code of muslim wear, but more relaxed.
if you travel to bahrain as a foreigner, they do not impose the dress code on you. but you will receive wolf- whitsles from the bahrain men...irritating but harmless.
but refrain from wearing too 'sexy', too short, too tight....common sense. wearing capri/ jeans is acceptable.

Life for women in Bahrain is perfectly normal.
You may wear what you want.
Alot of women here work.
Bahrain is very westernised and very peacefull. Expats respect the local traditions and religeon and the locals dont impose their religeon and culture onto the expats here. If you wear tight, sexy clothing you may get wolf whistled.. but come on where wouldnt you. All in all its a great place to live.....
