it was on peadophiles and rapists who dont serve their whole prison sentence, live in 'supervised' hostels so to speak and can do what the hell they like, ie. prowl round playgrounds and public toliets. made me feel physically sick

There were no suprises for me (I work in criminal justice) about offenders not being supervised 24/7. Sometimes the police are able to do this with hostel residents in the first few days after release from prison, but not for any longer, as the cost runs into tens of thousands. Community supervision does not and never has equated to continuous surveillance - if that's what people need, then they should be in prison, the only place where this is achievable.

What did surprise me, however, was that some of the residents were not recalled despite behaviour, known to hostel staff, which clearly breached licence conditions (at the very least, the general condition all licencees have to "be of good behaviour" and not undermine their rehabilitation). Of course, what *wasn't* shown were the probation discussions about whether to begin recall proceedings, so we don't have the opportunity to comment on the decision-making.

i did no longer watch it the two and if I had i could in simple terms have been in tears each and every of the time. I even have labored alongside Social centers interior the previous for incredibly some years and there are fors and against them. some social workers are lazy sods and others have their palms tied by way of forms so it is not continually an open and close case. rules could desire to get replaced to grant SS extra jurisdiction to dodge situations like this.

They should stop being so PC and take the hard line with any sex offender. Personally I think that if they are allowed out in society then they should have paedophile or rapist tattooed on their head...we have the right to know! People never change no matter how many 'how to be a normal member of society courses' they attend in prison!

So many prisoners and offenders, so few places in prisons and yet so many unihabited islands we could dump them on...

start off with the paedos, child killers and terrorists and let's dump them off and shoot any who try to leave the island
