Gosh...I can still hear the noise of the fruit falling off the rope in Donkey Kong...many, many hours of fun! I remember Chucky Egg too...! and who can forget loading the tapes up....they took forever!

Sh!t yeah, we used to sneak in the science lab at school to play it on one of those bbc computers which, at the time, were brand new!
I think we had a song which went;
He aint got an eagle or a jenny wren

Yea, too right! The boyfried that I was with at the time had a lil bro (Jules) who used to play it endlessly and it would get on our wicks cos we could hear the continuous 'clicking' noises as he went over all the eggs. (He bought another copy the other day!) He managed to get into the programme and give himself unlimited lives so there was no end to it! (He's a computor expert now who travels the world)
He also used to play a game called 'Frak' which had catchy tunes - but not when you were trying to watch TV. Memories, memories ...

yes i played it for hours on my Commodore 64, in 1982-1984.
It was grand! collecting eggs and piles of bird seed Fun Fun Fun

yes it took ages to load up from a tape deck - I think it was Namco but i can't be sure.
