Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet, and Omega is the last. It is from Alpha, that we get the first part of the word "alphabet", and the second Greek letter, Beta, gives the second half of the word.
Alpha and Omega also have spiritual meanings, being the first and last, or beginning and end. God, in the Christian Bible calls himself the Alpha and Omega. The two letters are often found in Christian churches.

Alpha is a in Greek, and the first letter of the alphabet. Omega is long o, and is the last
I read alfa and romeo at first, and an alfa romeo is much more fun than Greek, unless you like tragedy.

Alpha (uppercase Α, lowercase α) is the first letter of the Greek alphabet. In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 1.
Omega (Ω ω) is the 24th and last letter of the Greek alphabet. In the Greek numeric system it had a value of 800. The word literally means "big O" (omega), as opposed to Omicron, which means "little O" (omicron)
