Because she's the wrong girl for you. She's walking all over you because you're letting her. Let her go and leave yourself open to meet someone who will appreciate your attention. No one is worth forgetting yourself for. What about you? What about your needs, your feelings? You can't continue to expect her to be something she's not. You'll only end up in more pain than you already are.
If she's not willing to give you what you want, it doesn't mean your a good/bad guy...it has nothing to do with you. That's just where she's at. It's up to you to decide if you're willing to put up with that.

truly.You are hurt deeply and struggling with your emotions and finding it impossible to let go.All women don't belong to the catagory you describe nor does all men.This is life.The only constant thing in life is 'change'.You , her , me and everyone and
everything changes and this is the reality.It's bitter but that's what it is.You need to hurt first for the healing to start.Sooner you let go the better off you will be. Man up guy!!! Women feel the same way as you do. You are not the only one in town who thinks about their significant other. Hurt is hurt whether it is a male heart or a female heart. It is really hard to realize that she wasn't that much into you. You have to stop suffering about what could have been and look forward to what can be!!!! God it is hard, I know! You seem to have the same problem as me, only that I'm a girl and its the guys that do that.
The answer to your question is, it's not always that case and everyones different, forget about her she wasn't right for you, you'll meet new people, sometimes better or sometimes not, move on

It sounds like your heart has been broken by a girl who doesn't love you the way that you love her.
Don't worry about it, and move on to the next one. You will find a girl that loves you as much as you will love her.

it's not always like that. maybe in your case yes.. and sorry if i say i dont think you love her that much or maybe you do but its not unconditional love that's why you measure, you see the difference and you compute.. you see what i mean?
if you really love a person, it wont matter as to who loves more or who cares more or who remembers more.. you'll love her without any but's and without any if's..
