i envy couple who go on first date and after get married and live happily till old age. that is really rare case in this generation. do u guys like long lasting relation

Yes, I believe in long lasting relationships!
But it doesn`t have to be man and wife, it can also be between friends!
Me and my best friend are inseparable 10 years now and never get bored with eachother!
It is a matter of how much you fit with somebody and it is a matter of understanding too. And of course, of how much you wanna give and sacrifice!
You see, even psycologists say that you and your husband should not only be lovers, but also friends, partners etc.
This is the only way for a relationship to last...
Friendship is what makes us humane. It is the most valuable thing in the world! ;-)

I really hope to have a long lasting love but in the current generation it is very hard to have relation to be long lasting as there are too much temptation in the society which a lot of us may find it very hard to resist.

I believe in it. If I didn't, I wouldn't be married. I think the problem is, people want it, but do not want to do the work. A long lasting relationship takes work, patience and more patience and more work. You have to really want it. It will be worth it in the end.

I still think they are out there...people are just too much in a hurry to meet the right person these days that they meet the wong ones thinking they are the right one marry them and then in a couple of years breaking it off

Better still, I believe in eternal love... the rock solid, abiding love that we have for our kids and family, our Brothers and Sisters.
I also believe that romantic crushes can become love that grows into eternal love, but that's a different relationship and some days it requires as much dogged, teeth-grinding commitment as it does romance. (And ponying up that commitment is a sign of eternal love...)

yep been married 42 yrs 5 mo. and we are best friends and soul mates we seem to know each others questions and we have never had a mean fight . not to say that we always agree with other but we never fight and we always say that we love each other every day 67 and 65 yrs old

Yes. My Grandparents were married for nearly 60yrs.They had a wonderful marriage and gave me hope.
