Rid-x is used to help keep the bacterial colonies in your septic system in balance. With out it you can really create a major problem. I use Rid-x once a month, flushed down the toilet, have not had any problems in 10 years

Yes rid-x is a good product for your septic tank. just dont use it too often because then it will do more harm than good. only use it when your tank need cleaning and flushed out.
