The movie is awesome, but it is SO much more fun in a movie house. Ah, the days of throwing toast at the screen and scenes being acted out down front!

Tim Curry is a wonderfully hilarious Dr. Frankenfurter. He's gotten a lot more talented since he took the risk of dressing in a merry widow and fishnets. Of course, any man who can carry off fishnets has got my vote!

Meatloaf was just hilarious, plain and simple. He's also done better (and worse) since RHPS, but his music's what made him famous, not movie, thank the gods above!

If you want to see something fun, see RHPS on stage. You'll never look at the movie the same way again!

it loses alot of its intensity if you watch it on tv, which i did recently. the first 4 times i saw it were at a local movie theater that played it at midnight and most people showed up in costume and went up to the front and sang and acted out the movie. a great experience when I was younger. tim curry has remained one of my favorite character actors.

Excellent movie! When I was eighteen we would go to the midnight showing, and the people who worked at the theater would check our coats and purses to make sure we weren't hiding rice (to throw at the screen for the wedding part) or toast (to throw when he proposes a toast.)
