Never did stop liking the classics (Bugs Bunny, Road Runny, Porky Pig, Tweety and Sylvester). But even those got lame when the censors decided that they were too violent for kids...Uh, come on! You're joking, right? But when you had to imagine Wylie E Coyote getting blown up instead of seeing it or watching the ACME anvil beat him in the head for the five thousandth time, it lost it's appeal.

As for Pokemon, Barney and all that other rot, it's all rot. While Barney is/was educational, I always thought Barney was a subversive plot to overtake the minds of our children. My daughter was never allowed to watch Barney...and I am SO glad!

The cartoons today seem to focus more on the adults than the kids. The ones I have seen have been pretty much lame and worse than mind-numbing.

I was never a fan of cartoons anyway growing up. I always liked "real" shows with people. Like "Mickey Mouse Club." The only cartoons I could stand were the ones with superheros. X -Men and Batman series were my favorite. Atleast the characters weren't talking animals. If I am bored I may stop the channel on "Justice League." I don't think anybody completely stops watching cartoons.

pokemon is lame. barney will always have a place in my heart. and power rangers will continue to save the world. however, i stopped watching because i grew up and the situations just don't quite fit any real life scenarios. after a while, ya gotta stop taking advice from the purple dinosaur, ya know?

Aww... now you went and made me feel old! However, I still like to watch my childhood cartoons, and they definitely beat most of the cartoons that are on the "tube" today. I still love Bugs and the Gang, Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo, SuperFriends, Captain Caveman, Yogi, the Pink Panther, and Fat Albert and the Gang... just to name a few. Those sure do bring back some great memories!

I like animation, but I watch King of the Hill, The Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park. I do like Spongebob Squarepants, though!

Our tastes became more civilized. This isn't including Family Guy or The Simpson's, those shows will always entertain me.

When you grow up, you must put aside childish things. Okay, not really. But, then again, as you grow older, your taste does change. Everything about you changes during different life stages.

New and better cartoons caught my attention and then other shows that were not cartoons took my interest.
