What do I do if I think I'm in love?

There's this guy at my school. We sorta have a history, we were sorta together a while ago, it wasn't official or anything, but we both liked each other. Then one day, it ended pretty badly. But, eventually we were alright and now we're almost like best friends. However, I think I love him, because I always depend on him to comfort me. For example one time, something bad happened and I called him and he helped me calm down and what-not. But the other day I tried to sorta tell him that I loved him, but I said it pretty fast and bluntly, and he said. "of course, you love all your friends that way." meaning that he either does not get what I mean, or does not wish to hear it. But, I think he's over me...since nothing is like before when we were always close and what-not. What do you think I should do? I'm not even sure if i'm in love or not, and I doubt the feeling is two-sided.

Just a day or so ago, he started talking to this girl he stopped talking to a while go, cause he hated her and thought she was a ***** supposedly. But all of a sudden he started talking to her again, and then he started telling me that from some conversation they had, he no longer trusts me etcetc. This girl and I aren't talking now for unknown reasons. ><

Also, my best friend told me that she thinks he might be doing this, cuz just the other day I told him that I thought I might like this freshman guy, cuz it seemed like we were like over and I wanted to sorta move on. And I trust him, so I told him. but maybe, that was bad...>>

try telling him once more how you feel
after your first try he may just want to be friends with you
its better to have a good friend then a bad lover so if he says he just want to friends with you move with your live but have him as a friend good luck

aawwwww..... you're inlove! U know, I'm experiencing this now but a bit different! I have a guy-friend in school. He's my bestfriend among the boys. Everytime when he tells me not to be friends with me (To scare me), I always say sorry to him! Then he told me he has a crush on me, so, I only said "Ok! That doesn't matter with me!". Anyway, talk to him again! Tell him you love him, not as a friend, but as your....true love! Tell him about how you feel by starting from the beginning! I always see that in movies! So go on! MAKE A MOVE!! GOOD LUCK!!! I'm sure he's lucky to have someone to love like you! :)

Its tough to just follow your feelings on a whim and just confess all to him. It might go well it might not... but it is a good idea to let him know how you feel... even if its subtle at first. I'd suggest feeling out the friendship a bit longer and see what happenes. It may seem like a better time to tell him if you go with the flow for a bit.
