I posted a question about eating all of a snack, then realizing you had eatten the whole thing. Someone suggested I look at their website, preaching something about obesity to me. I find this humorous. I am 5' 2" and weigh about 112 lbs. I have been blessed with a high metabolism, and can surprise most average sized men by eating them under the table. Do you make these automatic assumptions also?

No, not at all. I answered your question and seen what that person posted. That is one thing I don't like, is when someone passes judgment and assumes something. That gives the impression of "holier than thou" attitude. When someone on here asks, "What's your fave food?" or "What's your fave comfort food?" I'm 100% honest when I type what my favorite food is. I can only think of what some may think when I say my favorite foods are cheesecake and ice cream and than solely assume, "Oh she's fat." Not at all. I enjoy those foods and I like to indulge, nothing wrong with that. We are our own and can choose whatever foods we allow in our bodies. As long as I'm happy, I'll feel nothing wrong with eating a Twinkie. I'm just like you, I have a high metabolism, and most will tell me I NEED to eat. I'm tall and have a slim figure. I say HOORAY to all the cupcake, peanut brittle, ice cream, chocolate eaters.

No way. My aunt ate a lot and never gain a pound matter of fact she tried to get help so she gain weight but nothing helped. (she weigh under 112 lbd) it was because she had high metabolism. Even so I don't think it's healthy to eat like that even if you don't gain weight. Doesn't sound like you are over weight if you have high metabolism

I wouldn't make that assumption, just because I eat a lot of junk food but I'm not overweight. People always assume stuff without thinking about different possibilities. It's just the way humans are! :)

Nope.

I have a friend who can out-eat anyone and she's 5'7" and weighs about 130 lbs. High Metabolisms are a great thing, I wish I had one.

Hell no. Just because it may seem that you eat a lot and indulge, don't stress, i recently found out that if you snack/eat between meals it some how increases your metabolism. therefore your body apparently starts to work faster. i found this happened to me recently (i had a baby 6mths ago).

I dislike any kind of assumptions, and avoid making any. No, I wouldn't assume anything about you in that regard.. got a brother who can gorge till he's ill, but will never gain an inch!

But I do wish I were you.......................
