Well I imagine it would get old after a while but I guess its better that he/she come to you than end up dead because they are too intoxicated!!!
Maybe it's time to tell them they might have a drinking problem or at the very least they need to make arrangements for themselves BEFORE they go out!!! Good Luck!!

Offer to put him up at the Super 8 or drive him to the nearest homeless shelter. Don't take him home. If he doesn't have any money for a hotel (but had money to drink), didn't care where he was going to crash before he got drunk, then don't put yourself in a situation. He sounds like a bit of a loser. Don't fall into his trap!

I would book a hotel room and call a cab for the ex. This way they will be in a safe place for the night and it won't cause you problems with your current other.

i will feel disturbed by his actions and immature behaviors. If he had an approriate reason for behaving this way,, i will let him stay over, if he didnt have one, i would call his friend or even the police to get rid of him, because he's intruding my personal space.

I would let him/her stay at my place,he/she would be safe..
as long as you trust him/her not to steal from you..be careful in the morning old flames may catch up again.
