I've read both and enjoyed them. Klause is a compelling writer. Her descriptions are very, very good and the action is suspenseful. Blood and Chocolate had the most unpredictable plot I thought. The romances in both books were well done. Silver Kiss was sad, so if you do not enjoy books like that, you may want to think it over. I also thought it was chilling in some places, but not horrifying.

I've read Blood and Chocolate and enjoyed it. If you've got access to a library copy you might want to read the books there first since how 'good' or 'enjoyable' a book is will always be subjective and vary from person to person. But I enjoy her writing style.
