Electrolysis of KHF2 in anhydrous HF.

Fluorine generally synthesizes from HF by electrolysis. Liquid HF is mixed with double salt anhydrous KHF2 in all platinum apparatus and fluorine would be genrated at the anode. Care should be taken to use anhydrous materials as even slightest trace of water would cause generation of oxygen (and OF2 at the anode).
