don't know where you want to go here
but based on history
economy has always depended on the quality of the soil(the environment)
all civilizations, when successfully went hand in hand with abundant agriculture
Central American empires,
Egyptian,Babylonian,Indian, the cities of Mu and Ur.
when the soil was gone as happened in the east and now in the Orient,,the civilizations ceased to exist.eventually.
ecology and economy walk hand in hand.
