Yes. I'm surprised to hear that he made such a common sense suggestion, but yes, I totally agree. We've been told repeatedly by this administration that the Iraqis want and need us there and are thankful for what we're doing, so why not find out straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak?

Even if they voted for us to get out, it doesn't mean they have the security necessary to protect their country. Imagine what would happen if Iran decided to attack and capture Iraq's oilfields, then war would just start all over again.

Actually, I like Geraldo, and maybe he has a point to see if the Iraqis want us to stay or not. We should at least wait until they hang Sadam.
