It is never imortant to me ( All questions are mortal) that's what makes us human.
At first, this was a game to me, but when I saw the ever encompassing need for true value of data, I became misresolvent with the few ignorant, and sometimes snide remarks with which my answers were so ,( OH THE HELL WITH PROPER F'ING ENGLISH)
I wanted to make points, because I am truelly competitve, just like everybody else out there. There is nothing wrong with that, It's human nature.
I saw so many questions, begging for help in the real world, It shocked me, and I didn't come back to this site for amonth or so, I'm not really sure how long.
But then, one day, I had another question, It surprised me when, Out of the blue, there was the answer I had so needed. And like a beacon in the dark, I realised Anew, this site has more to it(and I need a few more toits, because sooner or later, I'll get around toit) than just stupid people asking stupid questions.
This is real people needing a real answer(but I'm still going to throw levity on occasion), And who am I, if not to give help to those who have given help(or what they think is help, in all honesty), to as many persons as possible.
I know I'm not a genius, but I ran around the block a few times(from, or to), and with this time came knowledge(experience) that someone else might not have had to go so far. If i can relieve you of that stressed out moment, then maybe all my pains weren't for nothing. And my pains were great, Please, all I ask is that you allow me to help you find your way through those times as painless as possible, MAY I???

At first it was very important to me. Then I started doing some research and as I researched I realized I was learning a lot of stuff.
Then I remember the day someone asked a question about pregnancy. I answered her based on my experience and the amount of information she gave about her situation. A couple of days later I received an email telling me I had gotten a best answer. When I check it out, she had chosen my answer and left a comment thanking me and saying that I really had helped her a lot.
That's what really counts when you learn something or can help someone.

I answer the best I can and sometimes I know when I am answering it may not be the answer the ask-er wants. You have to be true to yourself first. Points on here are not as important as answering what you feel you need to.

I do think though that for the majority of the questions you should give the best answer you got but for the foolish ones (and they know they are being foolish) it is fine to have a bit of fun.

I try to give my best answer, but I admit I try less if it seems like a senseless question.
This is the first time I've seen a question like this asked on here. I often wondered if other people really tried, and what the points really "meant" to other people.

It definitely feels good getting a best answer. However for me is not a main aim. Sometimes its just easy to write what ever people are expecting to read. I try to answer honestly & not worry too much about the 10 points.

Yes, it would be nice, but none to date. I admit, a few times I just answer obvious answers for the two extra points, but today, I've been trying to put sources down, but still none.

I only cared in the beging. I wanted the 10 points to be able to raise my Q&A limits. Now I just don't care, but it's fun to see a best answer notification once in a while.

I just answer accordingly... but it feels better when someone picks your answer as the best one.
