I dont have any insurance and I do not qualify for medicaid. My husband is the only one working and I cant afford to go to the doctor, does any one have any ideas on what I can do? I live in North Carolina.

no it is a large knot below my belly button I would say the size of a basketball and a small knot right on the scar about the size of a tennis ball

Yikes, a hernia really does require medical attention. Do you live in a larger city? I know here in the Dallas TX area and where I used to live in the Birmingham AL area there are charity hospitals that you could get help thru. I would be happy to do some research for you if you could tell me what city you reside closest to.

just what are your symptoms? if it is a belly button hernia do not worry it will pop back after,you should seek medical advice as your scar could rupture

Find a health dept are clinic that is free or has a sliding scale for its fees- that should help -D
