My younger brother has a beardie who sits in the family room. My mother has a VERY prissy persian cat and a fluffy yippy puddle pup. Draco isn't bothered by the other animals, I doubt he really even notices! We have let the cat sniff him, since she is declawed, but Draco doesn't roam "free" in any room but my brother's who keeps the cat out. She didn't really seem interested in him tho, a good sniff and once a hesitant lick and she leaves him alone. I'm not sure about the dog, I don't believe they've ever met to tell you the truth. But Draco hasn't shown any changes in behavior when the dog barks at him.

As for other reptiles, I'm not sure I would share a cage with something other than another beardie. However a good friend of mine has many beardies caged next to a HUGE collection of geckos and they don't seem to mind that either.

It really depends on the animals. Some people have them around other animals and never have a problem, some have them around the same animals and the bearded dragons are so stressed by them, they die.

On animals they all seem to not like is a bird, especially a parrot, When you take them outside and a bird flies overheard, they dragons will usually react very badly and can ever hiss and snap at their owners, who they have never acted like that to before. Cats are not good to have around small/young bearded dragons as they are natural enemies, once the dragon is older, you may not have a problem, but they should never be left alone with a cat and if the dragon appears stressed at all, you need to keep them in separate rooms.

I know many people that have lost a young beardie to a cat as they can get on top of the cage and knock off the lid to get to the beardie.

To learn more about bearded dragons and there care, this site has care sheets with lots of medical information also and they also have forums with staff that can help you and even a chat room for help. http://www.reptilerooms.com/

Well I am new to the bearded dragon part but I have 3 ball pythons that are caged right next to the BD Nomane` . I also have an iguana named IVY. The snakes tend to stare at Nomane` all day long. Nomane` just sits on his perch and stares at them. I put up a pillowcase in between the two cages because I read that it can upset the BD's if they can see other animals. In my opinion it has made him more active but not necessarily less timid.

There is a great website/forum with lots of information that you can look at. Housing, Feedin, General Care etc.

So far as long as they are not all out at the same time everything seems to be okay. My IVY seems to freak out more than anyone and that is only when my 2 dogs are around. Not to mention she was abused before we adopted her so we are still working with her temper.
