I'd personally settle for a pepperoni pizza. Turkeys always taste bland and stringy to me personally............

Oh yes, I'll be having turkey. In fact there is one very nervous turkey in my back yard, picketing!!! (sign says, "Pork, the other white meat.)

I like turkey, but if it is dry it can taste pretty yucky.

Good luck. If you were coming to my house I'd give you your pepperoni pizza and eat the turkey myself.

Peace.

I am an ex-pat, living in Germany, and this time of year is goose season. Goose is served everywhere, and I have fallen in love with it. It is much tastier than roasted turkey. When I lived in the States my family and I usually chose to have ham on Thanksgiving because there were several kids in the family who just didn't like turkey.

To have a truly traditional Thanksgiving, you can ignore the turkey all together. According to the History Channel, the pilgrims ate mostly venison and "wild fowl" (unspecified, but probably pigeon or quail) at their original feast.

Eat whatever you like, just, as you are eating it, be grateful that you have enough food to fill your belly. That is what Thanksgiving is about, truly; it is a celebration of being alive after a long and arduous adventure, and I think most people can relate to that feeling. So, bottoms up, cheers, happy holidays, and pass me a piece of the pepperoni!

I don't like turkey either, last year I was at my In-Laws .. and we had low fat vegetable Lasagna because my mother in law is a health freak .. needless to say that Thanksgiving sucked. Pizza sounds so much better go for it!

No we never have turkey on Thanksgiving because my grandpa refuses to eat it so instead we have ham. I'm not a big fan of turkey anyhow.

I don't know. I usually have turkey, but I think I had cheese fries last year. I like tradition, but I'm not motivated. If there is turkey to be eaten. I will eat it. If its pizza. So be it.

Not me. I'm a vegetarian. I'm just going to have salad and a roll. The gluttony of Thanksgiving grosses me out!

We're going by my in-laws, who are very health conscious. God only knows what we'll end up eating. Probably a skinless, meatless turkey-shaped soy burger.

I'm replacing it with Honey Baked Ham, still having gravy for the mashed potatoes though.
