I may be pursuing the course out of interests, and I will be leaving the comfort zone of a monthly salary and two years of working experience.

I'm worried of not having a job when I graduate. Isn't everyone.

i graduated with a arts and social sciences degree majoring in econs (the most 'useful' amongst the subjects offered) and jap studies.

If you are pursuing your interests, then you are likely to be able to find a job related to your interests WHETHER you study it or not.

Most of my friends who are in the same course with diff majors end up:
- teaching
- doing sales
- working in banks

So i am not sure if this is what you want to do..

Which is more important to you? your interest or your job prospects OR the amount of money in your pocket?

I used to want to pursue a masters in mass comm for interest but after working for a few years in the media industry, I found that it is my experience, not my degree that matters when i apply for a media related job.

If you are for pursuing your interest, you can consider getting a job you are interested it and gain expereince from there..
