Nobody likes a preacher. The question wasn't about religion. There is a section all about that if it's your thing and besides... Lot was seen as a good person even though he had sex with his daughters? Have fun with that.
As for the asker of the original question: your question has holes in it big enough for me to drive a diesel truck through. You were straight??! Hon, you're either born lesbian, straight or bi (presuming you're female). You don't just wake up one day and proclaim you're gonna change your sexuality today. I'm sorry but itr doesn't just work like that. People who have that sort of attitude make it hard on the people who are being legitimate when they come out. I'm really confused are you are guy, woman, transgender...because if you are a woman than all your doing is admitting to being straight, but after gay men (does not make you gay by the way)? Only way you are gay (as a reminder) is by being attracted to members of the same sex. There is nothing wrong with being gay there is, or being with someone who is gay. However just a though maybe you would like to answer if you with somone who is gay wouldn't that make him bi? And if you were with someone who is bi are you okay with sharing?

Nothing wrong with gay people. I am concerned though....how could you 'used to be straight'? Maybe you were just in denial. Everyone has had a gay thought. That is why people are so scared of gay people......they are afraid of someone finding out that they have had these thoughts.......gay or straight. Fear always breeds ignorance. Gay people are nothing to fear....in fact, I know gay couples who have been together and 'faithful' to each other more than I know straight couples who still appreciate each other.

There is completely NOTHING wrong with being gay, being gay is beautiful, its natural, you should be happy in your discovered homosexuality and find yourself a boy friend to share it with, make love, and fall in love, dont listen to the ignorant preachers in here that claim it is wrong, you have had gay sex, therefore you know how beautiful it is, it isnt wrong, you arent wrong, and God is watching and smiling as you learn more about yourself. If there was anything wrong with homosexuality God would have made it preventable, but it isnt, homosexuality is completely natural. Remeber that the majority of this world geniuses were homosexual, DaVinci, Michel Angelo, Alexander, Aristotle and many more, dont be ashamed of it, thrive in its freedom and intelectuality, being gay is one of the most advantageous advantages on earth, so explore your homosexuality.

Okay your avatar and your story totally through me off. I've never really heard of turning gay, are you sure you aren't bi? Either way there isn't anything wrong with it.
Some religions preach against it but it's really hard to find anything that atleast one religion doesn't forbid. Don't let anyone tell you there is anything wrong with it. Especially if they use fairy tales like the Sin of Sodom, in the bible Sodom commited more sins that just homosexuality and I see no evidence that it ever even happened anyway. So what if sodomise comes from Sodom, quixotic comes from Don Quixote, a fictional character.
Have fun with your newfound sexuality and don't let anyone judge you.

However, be ready to be violently attacked by Christians, republicans, conservatives of all kinds, and other totalitarian maniacs - being gay is THE worst sin on their list. But, they feel that way because most of them are afraid of their own homosexuality, so maybe if you turn one of their priests, politicians or judges and make him come out, you will be OK.
