Let us assume that the number 2 on this context is only a symbol (just a generic label). Consider the operation + with two operands wherein the value of the second operand is horizontally flipped and it overlaps the value of the first operand. Then we have 2 + 2 to be 2 and its flipped image (e.g. S - just imagine that this is the flipped image of 2) overlapped together will form a fishlike symbol.
