soo my attention getter.. can i start with a quote or what?? what should i start with???

starting with a quote is always good, make sure it relates to your paper.

or you could say "(subject) and (subject) seem to be very alike in many ways. However, they are actually very different."

If you decide to start with a quote, you should make sure that the quote fully supports the following sentences which should be in your own words. Quotes can make wonderful introductory attention grabbers. However, you always have to be careful to include the correct citation. Don't forget to restate incorporated quotes in your own words. If you only use part of the quote be very careful not to omit parts that could change the meaning of the original speaker.
