Because it seems as though employers want applicants to have a "calling from God" to work even the lowest paying jobs.

That would be a sure fire way to not get hired. Employers aren't interested in kooks.

You dont if God wants you to have that particular job HE will make it happen not you. You just do your best and pray about it. If God wants you to have it he will make a way for you to have it. All you do is do your best at the interview.
