if you answer this question what did you do to eliminate the pain?

This is a congenital anomaly called lumbarization of S1(sacral bone 1). This is usually an incidental finding on lumbosacral spine xrays. Most have no symptoms-you probably have another cause for your pain, like when your vertebrae slips on one another due to trauma. See a doctor.
