I think that Partition magic just deleted your partition and now it is marked as unallocated space. Actually I've never used Partition Magic and I'm not familiar with its feature pack. But I know for sure that your partition can be recovered by Partition Recovery. The Partition Recovery is an utility of Acronis Disk Director Suite.

You have UN allocated space use partition magic it is good software but you did not know how to use it yet, run partition magic and resize c: drive UNtil you use it all .then partition magic will format the un allocated space without losing DATA.but if it is OK to lose DATA delete partition c: then create one partition and format it .

The space that you have lost must be present as unallocated space.
From what I know, I think you will have to create partition with the unallocated space and then Merge the new Partition to C drive.

First remove the software partition magic and reboot the system, see if this works. if not you would have to format the drive....

In order to have one drive you have to reformat the drive, every time. If you cannot or refuse to use Partition Magic to do this, take your original operating CD or recovery CD and insert it to re-install your operating system and reformat your hard drive to one letter. Have fun!

Guns don't kill people; people kill people!
Partition Magic didn't delete anything; YOU DID!
:-)
But blame it on the software if it really makes you feel better...lol

I did that once too, I think I had to reformat the computer to repartition it.
