People are inherently greedy. They say you can't buy certain things, but once people get a sniff of a big pay out, they seem to change their minds. Think about gold diggers like Anna Nicole Smith.

Money can buy anything tangible; there's a saying that "every man has his price," so even if someone initially says he won't sell something, enough money will usually change his mind. Money can buy service; money can also buy at least the appearance of respectability and concern - someone with a great deal of money can make contributions to worthwhile organizations and enhance his reputation. I'm not necessarily advocating any of this - just trying to give you a few arguments.

Money can not buy youth, or life when your time to die comes. You can not take it with you or buy yourself a place in the afterlife. As for earthly things, yes everything and everyone has a price. People become corrupt because enough money is offered to them. People with money get better service , clothes, health care, homes, spouses, dates, cars etc., they get breaks in the law, they get more romance, fun , etc. Money may not be able to buy happiness but it can afford a person time to search for happiness. It is just as easy to fall in love with a rich person as a poor one, and a lot easier to have more fun with them.
