if the ultrasound states i am 8 weeks and 2 days does that include the 2 weeks of ovulation. or is that the date of conception.

An ultrasound of 8 weeks and 2 days means that you have 31 weeks and 4 days until your due date... the age of your fetus would be 6 weeks and 2 days. Congratulations! I would suggest going to either:

www.americanpregnancy.org
All of those websites have really good weekly emails that will tell you what is going on with your baby's growth and will give you alot of info on what to expect.
Also, i would suggest going to pampers.com and signing up to get free coupons... the ones I got were for 2 a package of diapers!!! I have never been more excited about a coupon!!!

That includes the ovulation. Your actual date of conception is somewhere right around 6 weeks ago.

The ultrasound can be off by a few days. They are not totally accurate.

They always add on two weeks, they do it from the first day of your period, cause they have no idea when you actually ovulated. So the two weeks is always added on.

It is usually from the last day of your last period, however can differ from time to time
