I'm trying to make a playlist of out-of-the-ordinary Christmas music. All I can think of is the one by the Ramones and "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues... Also, need to have relatively clean lyrics cuz I wanna listen with kids.

Check out the song "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses. And if you have the ability to listen to internet radio, check www.somafm.com every few days--they have an online alternative internet radio station, and within the next couple weeks, they will be playing alternative holiday music.

I know they aren't exactly punk/alternative songs, but The Who's "Christmas" from "Tommy" and the Kink's "Father Christmas" are definitely not your typical Christmas songs.

Yeah I like "Greatest Time of Year" by Aly and AJ... Not to many celebs right there own christmas songs, and they did for their first time and it kicked butt. Thats a good song to put on something thats fun and popish... Good Luck!
