I am 5 weeks pregnant and I was wandering if it is normal to get really bad cold chills to the point where my fingers are freezing?

During pregnancy, your hormones are ALL MESSED UP compared to what you normally experience. Unless it's causing some serious numbing or pain, you should be okay. Just don't forget to talk to your OB about it. (S)he might be able to give you some tips on how to control it. I'm sure you don't want to walk around with mittens on for the next 35 weeks.

I can't tell you its normal or not but common sense if it doesn't feel right then you should go to your doctor. Many women have different side affects of pregnancy so no one can tell you if your OK but your doctor. So for your safety and your child don't wait to talk to your doctor.

(Mom of two)... You don't get chills from pregnancy. You may be dehydrated. Talk to your physician. It could be something more serious.
