Regardless of your personal party, it's important to have checks and balances. I think it's a great thing. Remember the saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely". Hopefully we can keep the corruption away and deal with the issues that will enhance the lives of everyday Americans.

Right side in one branch, left side in other branch should mean more is done for the majority of the people, the moderates (just right or just left of middle.)

As a South African with limited knowledge on US politics, I can merely say THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN.

My own opiniojn is that the warmonger will be kept in check, and the USA people will be allowed to return to the positions they once held: Respected World Leaders and not FEARED WARLORDS.

I think the results are great. (Don't you guys think you should charge Rumsfeld with committing WAR CRIMES)

I am personally upset about it. They have the majoirty of both the House and the Senate. *sigh* Hopefully Bush will be using his veto powers if anything gets too out of line.
