McCain, Powell, or Guilliani would be good, experienced MODERATE republicans that'd stand a chance.

Edwards, Gore (again), Obama, Clinton would be good MODERATE dems that would stand a chance.

any combination of those tickets would be nice to see. entertaining and inspiring, and of note.. i seriously doubt that any of those people would run the kind of BS mud-slinging, contentless campaign ads that Rove and his projects have been running for the last 12 years.

Perhaps now (when dem. celebrations and rep. glumness is over) america will again see the value in educated, well intentioned, honest politics... with politicians who have the interest of the country in mind when they do the "deciding".

There were days when the news and the people were not so sharply divided... A person can dream.

The GOP can put up a ticket that could defeat the Dems, but the GOP is scared of it.

John McCain and Rudy Guiliani. Two tough customer who will do what is best for the country (and since they are not controllable by the GOP, that ticket is a bigger fantasy than front row center at a Stones Concert)

I think Colin Powell would do a great job as president. He is one of the most respected men in the world and he has a lot of integrity.

Roseanne
Dane Cook

Seriously though, I think Tom Hanks would be fabulous. I wish he was Canadian, so we could have him as Prime Minister.
