Though contracts are often reneged legally, when minors are involved with out benefit of adults, and businesses are shy about losing that money, I see it quite often.

But, when minors walk into my certified service center, with a computer, and offer to have a parent pay for the hot rodding of their system, I want to ask the parent about the contract, BEFORE we begin work!

Otherwise, we might legally be prevented from ever collecting money for our parts and labor. The way children behave today, with their wants for a super computer, we could be out hundreds of dollars for dual head DVI LCD monitors, with up to 16Gb or RAM, and upgrades to fast multiple processors.

Kids, just get the fastest OS, like what Microsoft uses on their 45,000+ computers and servers at hotmail.com, MSN.com, Microsoft.com, the Linux Labs at Redmond... GNU/LINUX!

yes they can. only if they have the full amount. i would suggest building one. i did when i was 17 www.newgg.com didnt care how old i was.. im 18 now though
