A successful person is one who is a good listener. To be a good listener, you should not pretend to be listeneing, but actually get the view point of other person. Normally, we tend to react immediately as soon one person starts to converse with us. It is just to show off that we 'know' better than others and we try to make it appear taht we are dominating and we are powerful, which is a very big weakness. Listen to the other person fully, put yourself in taht person's shoes, think what you would do and then raect. You can be good leader.

you don't speak up for yourself. your opinion and your personality isn't shown when all you do is listen to others. negative aspects for being a listener only would have to be just never being the spoken basically. show some confidence and speak up. but not all the time. remember: in the wise words of mr hendrix: knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens.

sorry but the question seems confusing ....is it that u want to be a good listner by overcoming ur weaknesses to listen ?
by my assumptions...i think to become a good listner u need to understand the purpose why the person is talking and why are u listening... once u r clear if its beneficial to ur growth, i m sure u can be a good listner :) .

you're not really actively engaging in conversation, so you have a greater tendency to daydream.
