Anyone remember the soap opera Santa Barbara?

I remember being a loyal viewer at a very young age, probably 7 or 8. I remember Eden, Cruise, Kelly, Joe, Ted, Laken, CC, Mason, etc. I remember Kelly being stalked and the C from a sign falling onto and killing someone, what year would this have been?

All I really remember about this soap is that all the women were blond.

I watched it when it first came on. all I can remember is in the very first episode someone was being released from prison and people were protesting that persons return to Santa Barbara. But that was so long ago. Sorry I couldn't help.

im not sure what year but i remember the show it started in 1984 but i dont know exactly how long it went but i watched every day the c fell on mary duval played by harley jane kozack she went on to star in aracnaphobia and the favor julia was always my favorite and she went onto be alexis on general hospital and kelly was played by robin wright who went on to be jenny in forrest gump and married sean penn i could talk about santa barbara for a very long time but i better stop there

i'm sorry this is not an answer, but still funny (at least to me). as a young child i remember my grandpa watched and recorded santa barbara RELIGIOUSLY. he loved to travel and within of about 150 miles into the car ride, he turned around because he forgot to press the record timer on the vcr. he was a funny guy.
