To me, sad feels like a cloudy day--everything is gray, heavy & damp, and cold and I feel alone with my heavy burdens. Happy is light, sunny, and warm and joyful--feeling connected to others and wanting to spread the joy to others. The color pink comes to mind as embodying happiness and a deep, dark charcoal gray comes to mind when sad.

Happiness is being content with what you have.

Sadness is having everything and no happiness.

“We went on this journey, ... and whether we were supposed to laugh, be happy, have a sad moment, it all came naturally.”

“Making it big ? there are happy stories about that. And there are sad stories.”
