How much space will a DVD burner take? How much space will a CD burner take?

I'm thinking of buying a DVD or CD burner. Can a CD burner burn real player files? How much will space will Nero use up? how do i install Nero? Where do i buy the burner?

DVD burner can burn DVD R / DVD RW / CD R / CD RW
CD burner or Combo CD R / CD RW

Current CD can burn until 700 MB
Current DVD can burn until 4.7 GB

Basicallly CD or DVD can burn anything from your computer
Data, Music, Picture,Movie
But for example real player file can burn as 2 option.

1. Burn as File (its consider data).
Its can not PLAY at CD Player
Its only can play on computer with Real player installed

2. Burn as VCD
Its can play both CD Player or Computer with player installed

Any CD/DVD burner can burn any files.But for audio-cds they have to be wav files.

Nero takes around 500-600 MB of space.

just run the setup prog of nero.It will be automatically installed taking the right amt of space

burners can be found at online shopping sites and any computer hw stores.

As for your question, a dvd burner AND a cd burner are EXACTLY the same size :-)
