When I see a car on fire on the shoulder of the interstate, I'm afraid it will blow up when I drive by. Does that sound crazy?

no, it is a real possibility and fear. try having it happen in front of your house, the fire spreading to a second car while your on the phone with 911. quite startling when the tires blow.

NO, THAT'S NOT CRAZY AT ALL.
YOU KNOW THAT IF A CAR IS ON FIRE, UNLESS THE FIRE DEPARTMENT PUTS IT OUT BEFORE THE GAS LINE EXPLODES TAHT EVENTUALLY, SOONER RATHER THAN LATER, THE CAR WILL BLOW UP, AND IT'S BEST NOT TO BE AROUND WHEN IT DOES.
I DON'T BLAME YOU FOR BEING AFRAID OF THAT. THAT WOULD SCARE ME TOO IF I WERE TO PASS A BURNING VEHICLE ON THE ROAD.

NO IT DOSEN'T. BUT IF I SAW A CAR ON FIRE, I WOULD GO TO IT, AND MAKE SURE THAT THERE WAS ANYBODY IN IT, OR EVEN A HOUSE ON FIRE, I KIND OF HAVE A FEAR THAT WHEN I DRIVE BY A DEAD ANIMAL IN THE ROAD THAT IS BLOWED UP, BY THE HEAT, THAT WHEN I DRIVE BY IT WILL BLOW UP, AND PARTS OF THE ANIMAL WILL COME INTO MY CAR.

No i totaly understand. I'm scared too. I would think if it got to the gasoline the fire would make it explode. I am really afraid of that. If u drive by u can feel the heat too and that really scares me.

Doesn't sound crazy to me. They always blow up on tv. I'd like to know which do blow and which don't and how you tell the difference.

If the fire reaching the gas tank it could blow, so you have right instinct to be afraid.

No. I'm always afraid that somebody is burning up inside the car. I just hate to see a person die that way.

Your chances of colliding with ANOTHER goosenecking slow driver are much greater than being hit by an exploding car!

omg i have never seen a car on fire on the side of the road but im sure if i did i would have that same fear along with about 5 billion other ones!
