Everyone says things to hurt people when they are arguing and once you calm down you regret it but you cant change what you have done. I know that he feels bad abput what he told his mom and she is still hurting over it thats why she hasnt taken any of his calls. He needs to gao and talk to his mom and apologize to her and tell her that he will never say anything hurtful to her again. He only has one mom so he needs to fix this right now quit calling her and go and see her

Yes, yes, we all say the worst hurtful things to family members. I think we do it because we all know each other inside out, we're together more than with anyone, we've had our disagreements for a lifetime, and we finally want to break away and in the process we say something so very hurtful. All he has to do is go ask for mom's forgiveness and tell her he didn't mean it and he loves her. Try not to do it again. She will forgive--all mothers do, even if their children hate them forever.

We all have said things we don't want to, we are humans and sometimes we act on impulses.
Remember that only forgiven is divine, mother's love their sons so your bf just needs to apologize a little more, realize of the harm and give her time, be patient. And you tell him to better think things twice or more before saying them to her and take it notice for you 2

Most all of us have said something very hurtful to someone we love. I recently lost my mom to lymphoma, and I think back to all the crazy stuff I put her through, but I always 'mended fences' quickly. We could never stay mad at one another! Mom loves her kid...tell him to get over there and apologize face to face!!

I think we have all quickly lashed out at least once in our lives but we need also to be as quick to apologize. It takes a bigger person to apologize than one who sits back and feels guilt

yeah...i did a really stupid thing once where i had wanted to go see this movie that was coming out for weeks! so i made up my mind i was going to go see it on opening night. that night, however, the roads started to freeze into ice and my parents told me i couldn't go. i screamed at them and made a huge fuss (over a frickin' movie), then proceeded to drive myself there. i got halfway there, then felt guilty about what i had done and turned around and came home.

sometimes in life we tend to say things that we dont mean. it usually takes a forgiving person to forgive another person. because of our feelings and emotions it takes time to forgive longer than others. give her time to think and she will return the phone call. everyone needs time.

There isn't a person on this earth that hasn't said something they regret. We've all done it. Time heals.
