Hardly. That tax deduction only goes so far honey. Having the kids pays off when they are old enough to start doing the chores, cooking the meals once in awhile, and kissing your butt to get something they want.
Yes, I'm kidding, but I figured that was the answer you were looking for. I'm a mother of five and the best part of having kids is knowing that no matter what you screw up, they are always going to love you. You are always going to be their hero, the one they turn to for advice, for guidance and security. Have you ever stopped to listen to a deep belly laugh from a four year old who's laughing at his older brother falling for a whoopie cushion prank? Or the hugs and kisses each night when you tuck them in. To hear your 15 yr old still tell you that he loves you each morning before he leaves for school? Besides the elderly, babies and children are the closest we are going to get to angels from heaven honey...cherish them.

the best part of having kids, should be the little things, like the look on there face when they lose their first tooth, and how much fun it lookes like their having with their friends, but it's also about the big things, like when they graduate from elementary to middle, then to highschool and then when they get into college, and just the fact that you can be proud of your child! watching them grow up, that is what should be the best part, and then watching their family grow (when they get married and have kids etc.), and then becoming a grandparent. It shouldn't be about the tax deduction!

I'm a father of 3 kids, and my wife and I never felt that we wanted to have kids for the tax deduction. And any person who does that, deserves to have those kids taken away from them. My wife and I had children because we love kids, and we wanted to have children of our own.
I have never ONCE considered my children to be tax deductions.
I can't believe someone would ask such a stupid question.
GROW UP!!

No. There are to many great things to even begin to name how much having my kids have made my life better. They are my everything no amount of monry could even compare to the love I have for them. They make you want to get up each day and do the right things because you always want them to be happy. Having kids is the best thing that I could have ever done and I wouldnt trade them for anything in this world. I wouldnt even give back all the pain I had in labor.

Yes, any time you can get out of paying more taxes to the wasteful government it is a good thing. Besides, you are contributing in other ways to the economy, by bringing another life into the world, which will ultimately prove to be beneficial to the American economy and society at large. So, the tax break is definitely a major perk, and it helps give you money to spend on the needs of the child. Good luck!

Im a father of 3 kids of my own plus a foster parent to a little 3yr old girl and my answer is no, it should never be considered. and as for piepiepie if you really feel that way about kids then maybe you can put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger so we can have room for another child.

Yes, children suck! There are enough people on the planet. There is no need for everyone who can to go ahead and breed. Only a select few should do that so, grow up, stop being selfish and adopt someone in need if you like kids so much!

Absolutely not! The best thing is that moment when you're feeling like crap and life just sucks and this little voice comes from behind you and says "I love you, Mommy" and you just melt and realize whatever hell you're going through is entirely worth it.
