Not quite. It is totally possible to do the wrong thing magnificently well. Just ask Hitler.
What matters most is choosing right from wrong and sticking with it with all your heart. You'll find that doing it well is easy when your heart is in it!

I'd prefer not to define myself. I thinklifes perils only test our definition of ourselves. Even if we fail to deal with a difficult situation in a way that we would like, it gives us an experience and a chance to improve the next time. The definition is never complete in either case.

Confrontation is life, that is the beauty of it, this is when we allow are selves to be are best and see what we are made of. Perils is another word for fear, and these are our tests in life to overcome, with a positive attitude. The choices make or break us. I'm not afraid of no ghosts, bring it on.!!!!

yes i do and very well. Why? One thing about life is that you will never be notice if you just sit at home, wash movies etc. The beauty of life does not depend on how happy you are, but how happy others can be because of you. If your hard working, you drag attention, if you dress well, you look good, you drag attention, good oral English and the way you comport your self, you drag attention, if your reasonable, intelligent, have good skills, thats perfect you see. A respect goes to a man not what he has, but how many times he can pick up him self after falling.

What defines a person, is not what they are physically. Or how much they have materially. It is what is in their heart, what they have done in their lives. If one pursues wealth, and pleasures, and is greedy, they usually are selfish and have very little friends. If a person is honest, giving and loving, many people will want to do the same for them. And they have God's approval. God looks at the inner person of the heart. All of us have flaws, and should be grateful for that.

No - it's what we do (not what we accomplish).
It's easy to be noble when everyone is toasting your health and prosperity. How easy is it when prosperity is taken away?
The thing that defines a great man is how he treats other men, especially those whom lessor men would call lessor men. A man of noble character will show his character regardless of what happens to him. All that will happen when a man of character confronts evil times is that lessor men will finally recognise the character they never before managed to see.

I think, both, partially defines us,not only what we do,but what we do when the poop hits the fan.People tend to drop their masks in a crisis situation. The irony is,some people wear the mask of "weak and helpless",yet become heroes when the going gets rough.

I believe both are important. It's what you do AND how well you do it. Always look at both sides of the coin.
By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.
Confucius
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
Socrates
A prudent question is one-half of wisdom.

your statement is flawed. as you put; how well we rise when confronted with life's perils. which, inevitably, is what we do. therefore, as you've wrote, defines us. what truely defines a person is their personality, and therefore individuality. (unless they're a copycat! j/k)
