How to save the WWE?

Ok, the WWE needs to do something because frankly, it sucks right now. Come on, you've got RAW, ECW, and Smackdown. That's overkill. Here's what they need to do:

1. Combine all three rosters and have two live shows per week: Monday Night Raw and Thursday Night Smackdown. (hardly anyone is home on Friday night to watch tv)

2. Progressively persue tag teams. You've already got a few good tag teams with the McAllisters and Lance Cade/Trevor Murdoch.

3. One word: Factions. DX, NWO, 4Horsemen. The WWE needs at least two if not three good strong factions. Shawn Michaels and HHH do not DX make. Get the Road Dog and Billy Gunn back, if not, how about X-Pac? Still no? Maybe Ken Kennedy?

4. More involvement and onscreen time for the McMahons, especially Vince and Shane.

5. Long term feuds. Maybe DX vs. the NWO, or the 4Horsemen vs. the Corporation.

Ok, since we're all in agreement, let's all e-mail the WWE and voice our opinions. Come on, I'm ready for some 1998-2001 RAW Attitude action.

I agree with you on most of these things.

1. I think that this should fit very wisely, because I don't think that there needs to be an extra "ECW." If the ECW performers want to perform, come to RAW or SmackDown!. Now, the reason that they created an extra ECW was for ECW to bring back their pay-per-views and get more people to watch, then TNA wrestling. (ECW was bought by Vince McMahon and the WWE.) So, here's the solution: Combine the ECW roster with RAW and SmackDown's rosters and just create more pay-per-views.

2. You're absolutely correct. I don't see any good tag teams anymore live on my screen wrestling. In fact, I haven't seen a lot of ANY tag teams. Especially on SmackDown!. It's been a long time, since I've seen two wrestlers team up to defeat the WWE Tag Tean champions, (or even try to defeat them.) There's one thing that I respect, that you said, but I happen to not agree with that. I don't actually believe that Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch are a good tag team.

3. You're right. DX needs their old characters back. I don't believe that the WWE will bring back the 4Horsemen, but I do believe that it is a wise idea to bring back the other characters of DX, such as Road Dogg, X-Pac, Chyna, (maybe), and whoever. But I do not believe that Ken Kennedy was on DX. (Editors Note: NWO was reunited for one single day on Smackdown!
last year.

4. This should not be done. The McMahons should not be shown anywhere during the show. The McMahons will probably ruin a match or whatever. Also, since they HATE DX, I think that they'll try to screw them just like he screwed Bret Hart. The McMahons are always messing up a match, right at the point, that it seems like a very good match to watch. So, in conclusion, we have to see less of Mr. McMahon and Shane-O-Mac, not more.

5. I absolutely definitely believe and agree with you on this topic. Long Term Feuds. We haven't seen any long-term feuds in a LONG time. Such as right now DX vs Edge and Randy Orton. You know that that is going to end quickly, maybe even before a month?! We need something like the Corporation vs Stone Cold, or like Stone Cold vs the Rock. Now in the WWE, tag teams have short feuds, which end when they start to feud with another team, or something like that.

I'm going to add a 6., a 7, and an 8. by my own interests. :

6. MORE PEOPLE VS'ING FOR THE CRUSERWEIGHT TITLE, AND SOMEONE ACTUALLY WINNING IT! Come on now. It has been 8 months or 9 months or something. Why can't you actually have more people winning the WWE's Cruiserweight championship? No one (as a SmackDown! fan) even liked it when Gregory Helms won the title, so lose it already! To someone like Matt Hardy or something. It's like the WWE actually forgot all about the WWE Cruiserweight championship or something.

7. WE NEED TO BRING BACK THE HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP! Here's the thing. If your (Number One) is believed, and they DO combine the three rosters into just two, we'll need the return of the Hardcore championship. That way, instead of everyone big or small won't have to go for the main ECW championship. It'll be like the "Intercontinental championship of RAW" or the "US championship of SmackDown!" This can also be done, if ECW is stil another brand. It's actually better this way. Then, the ECW can have two belts to go for, and more competition.

8. THE RETURN OF THE ROCK. The return of the Rock is very much needed because the WWE fans are "starving" without the Rock. The Rock created this business, and made the improvements. Probably all of the fans miss the Rock. I miss his People's Elbow or his Rock Bottom, and especially his "Can you smell, what the Rock is cooking?!" I also miss his theme song. A lot of WWE fans signed a petition of a website (including me) at a total of 6,547 entries, but I have no clue, if they'll send it or not. The Rock was probably the best wrestler of his time. Some believe it was Stone Cold Steve Austin. But anyway, the Rock NEEDS to come back to the WWE.

I disagree with this. I believe that the WWE has to many wrestlers who will never get anywhere and aren't worth the money or TV time invested in them. They need to get more wrestlers who could one day become WWE champion. In every sport a team is put together made up of players who have the potential to become champions. The WWE should be no different. There are too many clowns, plummers and firemen running around so of course hey can't make any new stars, they've got nothing to work with, but at the same time it's ther own fault. There are some awesome wrestlers out there who don't have a contract in TNA or WWE, but the WWE doesn't bother to recruit them, because they believ that so long as they are making money everything's fine. This is why you will still see John Cena winning world titles in 15 years from now.

Agree. So many great wrestlers such as Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Edge have come through tag teams. Tag teams to me symdolise where the company is heading. Having said that, I'd get rid of Lance Cade/Trevor Murdoch, because they'll never amount to anything. I haven't seen theMcAllisters so I can't judge.

Agree and disagree. There should be more factions. But they should be more like Evolution, (old stars working with new stars), look what it did for Batista and Randy Orton. But I wouldn't use the names ,DX, NWO, 4Horsemen because they've already done that. They need to come up with new factions and new names and personalities for each fraction.

Disagree. You don't see the owers of the NBA or PGA golf tournamet or the NFL on TV ezch week trying and failing pathetically to make themselves into stars. The McMahons have no business being on TV unless there is a major issue that needs to be adressed.

Once again those names have already been used so why do the same old thing all over again. Although having said that, I wish the company had more long range goals as a company and with the individual wrestlers rather than relying on the same old things, (and I do mean old) week in and week out, while the other guys just spin their wheels.

Well only been a few mounth since ECW and I think it's gonna stay maybe paul bearer would be a greater GM But!
Anyway ye good idea those feud's you mention!but if you over kill it dont work! a good 1 was vince-Austin But without no wcw to have any war with that's why we have 2 rosters start! NO "enemy's" . Now ECW has a 45 min slot! that usually 4-5 matches on T.V rest live. Trust none these shows go on for an hour! useually have people we dunno of for hour before!
I think putting together hall of fame was a good idea cause you gopt the obviouse but some still aint their?

I absolutely agree with you. Trish is definitely missed in the women's division. It is pathetic to me that on RAW there is only a select few who are good enough to be the champ. I would love for AJ Styles to come to WWE it would make my day. AJ is one of the best wrestlers today. His moves are amazing and he would bring a lot to the WWE and bring over some pretty great fans. RVD is definitely another person I missed. He is so good at what he does and really gets the crowd into his matches or anything he does. And Lita I don't think that anyone who could be like her, the same goes for Trish. Lita is just one of those wrestlers who was exactly that a wrestler. And like Trish I dont think there are many of the divas today if any of them, who could top what Trish and Lita did for women's wrestling. They made it what it is today, with the help of others of course. And although I can't stand him Kurt Angle was one of the best heels the WWE had. My top five would be: 1. Trish Stratus 2.RVD 3. Lita 4. Stone Cold (sure at wrestlemania 25 he will be there, but I'm talking full time which probably wont happen.) 5. Tied between-AJ and the Rock (who I know will probably never wrestle again because he has got a good acting career going on which is great.)

Pretty Good suggestinogs however, the only way to improve the product is to loose money. THe WWE needs to be come creative and not go back to bad lines and more sex. TNA seems to have the right idea if you watched it. If you like the sex part then you have it. Creative story lines and not using family memmbers like Guareros wife is much better than cheap ideas. The ECW stuff I watched last night was so poor in the acting on Paul Heyman's part. It insults me as a human being. that was the great thing about the NWO when it came to WCW, it was not insulting, but made you angry. Find some way to have a good and evil. Sting was good, when his good wayned so did WCW. SGt SLaughter turning bad when he was America's hero, it destroys our faith and gerneally causes a lack of interest because VINCE took away what we believed in. The WWE is more about letting the McMahon's egos grow then it is for the fans. They like money, but Billionaire Vince has an ego larger than Big Show.

How about we combine them and have three or four shows a week. I'm a wrestling fanatic. I almost died when Vince took over the wrestling scene and I only had two choices. I need to see wrestling on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. (Yeah I know that Thursday is not WWE. It's TNA.) Like I said fanatic. Shoot I look at Mexican wrestling on Saturday and Sunday and wrestling on ESPN. Yes I have a life but I also have TiVo. I do agree with reforming more factions and getting more tag team action though.

it wont work because then wwe wouldnt have any competition. the only way to get more ratings and to cause feuds is split raw smackdown ecw into brand extensions. but vince mcmahon could do something about how wwe has gotten today.

I agree with everything you said. They also need to get rid of those "reality" gimmicks-the diva search, tough enough, hell maybe even Cyber Sunday or Taboo Tuesday (maybe next year it will be called Manic Monday) Because the winners of the contest-voted by the fans-get kicked out while the washed up finalists or semi-finalists just go on and just suck up air time. And fans lose with the interactive pay-per-view. It should be a bigger more wider base to choose from not 3.

That and we need to kill Vince(put him out of his misery).
