Out of all seriousness I am wondering what is a mans biggest fear in showing his emotions? I want to see how many of you answer the same response.... Kind of like a poll question... Please answer honestly.... We don't know who you are....
I am curious because I wanna know what goes on in the mind of a man...

Rich I have hit every nerve in my hubbys body and he is entirely responsive and open to me, he is putty in my hands but I am a woman that does not take him for granted... He has opened up to me and has forgotten about the bad boy he once was... I am feeling rather greatful and was curious why so many others do not have that same connection...
My theory is it is the women and yes they may disagree but ladies, you just whine too much.... And need to know a man needs so much more than any are willing to admit... If you want a marriage to last, and keep fire in it, women need to realize just because you are married is not a free pass to forget about him until you need him and then complain when he has strayed... And by no means am I condoning cheating, I just see that a man has deeper needs and a real woman should notice this... To the men out there start demanding what you want.... And see if they are not responsive.......

Tell me if I am wrong but I think it is TRUST, a strong desire to please him, the ability to laugh with him and find humor in life... It is giving each other space, listening with your eyes as well as what he says, reading his body language, and between what is not said... I know I may have missed some details but these seem to be key....

For me it's all about trust. You have to earn my trust for me to open up to you.

Perhaps losing a poker game. Since I don't gamble, I fear none. As far as I am concerned emotions a form of communication and should be used without fear.

screw the alpha male proud crap. Not all guys are like that. You just haven't hit a nerve. I cry at some things, but stop cuz my wife bothers me about it. I'm forced to cry in secret, as if i have a hidden addiction. By the way, guys do cry in secret...kind of like your toys are alive at night while you're sleeping. It happens, you just don't know it.

Men do not have a problem showing any other emotion than weakness. as a man, the feeling of weakness and helplessness is the biggest deterrent. it is not in a mans genetic makeup to be as emotional, as it is to be "strong", and a leading type.

It's simple for most men, we cannot appear to be weak it's a mans job to be strong always, obviously not true but it's the mentality.

Because l was not raised to be what my dad would call a sissy. Also it is not in my nature to be whining and crying about stuff you can't control.

Emotions can make some men feel vulnerable, and you know we can't have that.

I'm not afraid of showing my emotions. There are times though, even though I want to show them, I can't because I need to show strength.
