Everyone can WISH their life was different... but can you change it? Yes, you CAN change it. Instead of wishing your life would be different, you can put it into actual acts and reach your goal. If you wish others recognizes your artistic talent, show them! You can't achieve anything without doing something achieving.
But if your wish was somethig like "i wish i was a princess..." well, sorry, can't help ya. There's no genie in the bottle or fairy god mother here... But i guarantee you, if you were turned into a princess... you would wish for what you don't have... which is basically everything you have right now.
The nature of human beings is to always desire for the ungettable

Doesn't everyone wish for something different. I have met a lot of people over the years and I must say that I have met very few who are really content and looking forward to going to their job every day or going home to the type of life they are living. I think everyone would like eutopia but it just doesn't exist. I would like to be involved in a creative lifestyle that actually helped someone instead of the usual routine mundane stuff.

Sometimes. I wish I wouldn't have to job hop or I wish I graduated from college when I was in my early 20s and had chosen a career direction...and some other wishes. I'm not saying it's too late for me to achieve that; as my counselor said to me, everyone is different in their development...some people are later or earlier than others in development in life.
For example, he told me of this man who didn't marry until he was in his 60s, because he had to work very hard and take care of his parent or parents. In other words, he had no social life when he was younger. I forgot how he met his wife, though. They were already in their 60s when they got married.

I wish my life was more exciting. I wish my life was different for better. So many of my wishes came true but still so many did not.

No, I made my bed and know I am sleeping in it. You can make your dreams come true, you just have to put a little effort in it. I don't know what your artistic talent is, but whatever it is, make a portfolio and show it of. Get busy and you will get your reward.

I'd love to be able to "save the world" but I know I can't, so I'm happy just as I am, living a simple life, helping where I can and trying to understand people when I can't help.
