Hmmm, you must be quite young judging by this question of superficiality.

Don't worry - when you meet the right woman for you, you won't give a toss what her eye colour is and the only thing you will want from your children is that they are in good health.

If you have only brown eyes in your family tree, then the child will have a 25% chance of blue eyes. If you have blue in your genes too, then that ups the chances for the kid to have blue.
Brown (B) is the dominant gene over blue (b), and every person has two genes determining their eye colour.
If you have BB (two brown genes) you will have brown eyes. If you have Bb (a brown and a blue), you will still have brown eyes, but have the chance of passing a blue gene onto your child.
In fact, even if your wife has brown eyes, there is still a chance that the child could have blue, if you two both happen to have Bb genes.

Lets say you have two brown genes, and she has two blue:

You: BB
Her: bb

The kid will get two genes: they will either end up with BB (brown), bb (blue), and they have two chances of getting Bb (brown). So it's a 25% chance of blue eyes for the kid.

If you happen to have a blue gene already then it will look like this:

You: Bb
Her: bb
The outcome could only be Bb (brown) or bb (blue). So that ups the kids chances to 50%

As for skin colour, I know less about that, but I think usually (but not always!) the child takes after the darker rather than lighter.

Genetics is a gamble every time, but I can tell you that brown eyes are dominant over blue and unless you carry the recessive blue gene (like I do) there is NO WAY your kids will have blue eyes. As for skin tone, that is a polygenic trait. Look it up. And dude, seriously, be happy that you meet a woman and fall in love and have healthy children.

Well... assuming for a moment that you DO get a blue eyed white woman...

Eye color is controlled by at least three different genes. Like all genetic material, your children will have two pairs (known as "alleles") of these genes, one from YOU, and one from this White, Blue Eyed woman you're talking about. One of the genes is known as Bey2, and codes for brown, or blue eyes. Another gene is known as Gey, and codes for green, or blue eyes. These two genes can be used to explain the production of blue, brown, and green eyed people. The purpose of the third gene is unknown, but may have something to do with the production of people with hazel eyes, or grey eyes, or it might explain the darkness of different people's eyes.

Having any green alleles in the Gey spot is rare outside of irish people. Since you are mexican-american, and you want blue eyed children so much, I will assume that your genes are Brown-Blue for Bey2, and your Genes are Blue-Blue for Gey. If your American parent had blue eyes, this is indeed what your alleles probably are. If your american parent had brown, or green eyes, but had siblings with blue eyes, there's about a 50% chance you do have a bunch of recessive blue alleles.

Your "Blue eyed" partner of course has Blue-Blue in the Bey2 spot, and Blue-Blue in the Gey2 spot.

Assuming you have only one brown allele as your eye color, there is a 50% chance your children will have blue eyes. If you have one brown allele, and one green allele, your children will be about 50% brown eyed, 25% blue eyed, and 25% green eyed. If you have two brown alleles, all your children will be brown eyed, but your grandchildren might have blue eyes. If you have two green alleles and one brown allele, half your children will have brown eyes, and half will have green eyes.

That's according to modern genetics, which admittedly is missing a few details on eye color. In fact, blue eyes are a bit more common than predicted based on this model, so you might be in for a surprise.

Skin color is based on an enormous collection of genes, and predicting it is practically impossible. I know a guy who is half mexican, half american... doesn't look it at all though. His wife is full american. They both have brown eyes, and four children. The first child is blue eyed, blonde haired, and white skinned. The other three are brown eyed, and olive skinned. Honestly, I suspect the mom of having an affair, but that's just because of how different the one turned out. Who knows though...

It really depends on the genes. Some interracial couples have children who look more like the darker skinned parent. Maybe with one of the kids looking like the lighter skinned parent. You can't just say what you want and get it. In my family we are mixed racially, and some of us are dark and some are light. But none of us got blue eyes like our father. The darker skinned parent is the one we look like more. But really don't let color be the issue, or the looks. Just be with someone you really love, and all the rest shouldn't matter.

maybe your kids might have your jeans. it depends. I think they'll be a little bit dark skinned but mostly white skineded since your part white and your wife is white, which makes the children 1 quarter hispanic.
