As a joke, punishment, whatever, what could you give?
The worst I could think of is an animal "adoption" at the National Zoo. No, not a cute and popular animal like the panda or tiger. The Madagascar hissing cockroach. Yes, you can.

Once, a customer gave me a present, it was a lotion and some body spray.
And I thought, wow, this is so nice!
But then, I checked inside and there was a little card with the name of another person!!!
If you are going to give anything, always remove the price tag and any trace of previous "owners".
